2021 Jewelry Trends

Waist-up dressing is having a revival in the Zoom age and that’s a boon for jewelry lovers. Videoconferencing—not to mention the masks we are all wearing everywhere but our homes (or should be, if we’re not)—draws attention to the face. This season, designers suggested many attractive ways to create a sort of halo effect.

If you ask us, an outfit is only as good as it is accessories. That is why we’re taking a beat to break down the best in bling. We have analyzed the red carpet, tuned in to fashion shows and zoomed in on many celebrity’s Instagram pictures to fine tune the top jewelry trends for spring and summer.

The buzziest style of the season is statement earrings.

Ear Bling

With warmer weather rolling it and the dreaded summer humidity, it's a fact of life that hair always ends up in a messy bun or ponytail. But just because your hair isn't polished to perfection doesn't mean your style can't be. A slicked back hairstyle is a great way to show off some statement earrings — which are going to be everywhere this spring! Get in on the earring action, by picking up these Hanging by a Pearl and a Thread Earrings, which feature pearl entwined with wire. They're chic, sophisticated and hold 18mm snaps, so you can find the perfect snap to match your springtime aesthetic.

The Charmed Life

All '90s trends seem to be making a resurgence (even low rise jeans!). That includes charm jewelry. Whether you're looking to rock a few different snaps on a bracelet or want one simple stand-alone snap charm on a necklace, the style is officially back. It was even seen at a few fashion week shows, including MM6 Maison Margiela and Dior. Get the look with this double snap rose gold pendant, which features 2 regular (18mm) snap holders.

Statement Necklaces

A statement necklace is always in style. That fact was confirmed on the red carpet by the likes of Gal Gadot and Amanda Seyfried. Gadot, 35, wore a stunning emerald-cut bi-color zoisite gem set in yellow gold from Tiffany & Co. The pendant — which is nearly 50 carats — is surrounded by 1,000 diamonds. Seyfried, 35, also stunned in a Forevermark choker valued at more than $1 million. But you don’t have to spend nearly that to achieve the same vibe. We love looking for colored gemstones that are attached to a longer chain. Try this Triple Circle Rose Gold Necklace in the Madison Collection, which costs $11.95 and combine it with a multitude of mini snaps to create so many looks for a fraction of the cost.
